Your Wedding Stories - Featured on Love my Dress

I’m super excited to share that this real wedding story of Kate and Toby was featured on the well-known wedding blog, 'Love My Dress'! The wedding was a tropical oasis for a stunning, cosmopolitan couple, Kate and Toby. Based in London and with a passion for travelling, they both wanted to incorporate this theme, along with other personalised elements, into their wedding day. For this couple, only one city centre destination would work; The Barbican Conservatory. The exotic scenery and urban architecture simply created the ideal backdrop for Kate and Toby’s big day.

Kate’s eye for fashion meant she looked flawless in a chic, floor-length dress from Halfpenny London. We continued this minimalist, modern look into the rest of the wedding with long tables layered with crisp white linen, vellum menus and calligraphy place names. Clear ghost chairs allowed the light to bounce around; elongating the tables and creating an elegant finish to the room. Continuing the conservatory’s tropical theme, they chose exotic florals from Rebel Rebel to add those final touches.

Tapping into Toby’s Middle Eastern heritage, a bespoke menu was created by Searcy's London for the couple and their guests. As well as a selection of beautifully decorated patisserie cakes from their local favourite pâtisserie, Le Choux, arranged on a mouth-watering dessert station complete with Baklava.

Finally, for the wedding reception, New Power Club played their upbeat, soul music which had guests dancing through the night. An absolutely beautiful couple, and wedding day, that I was incredibly grateful to be a part of. Thank you, Kate and Toby, for bringing me on board and trusting me to help plan your wedding with you. x
